And in that choice, she became the vessel of God's glory. Every time we say yes to God, even in small ways, we step into that same story. The question is, are you brave enough to answer? You know what I love about this today? What? Is that it's pushing us into moments of challenge and to say yes in small moments. Perfect example. Yesterday, one of my kids had therapy, and the rest of us were hanging out in the waiting room. And I could have sat there for an hour and perused my phone and just hung out, and it was kind of sheer chaos with three little kids in the waiting room. But instead, they had this giant tic-tac-toe board, and I decided, you know what? We're going to play this. And we played it, and they got a little loud. And then I took all four of them out to eat with me. And we all had a really good time. Like we had really great conversation. And it's not that any of the yeses that I said were these big, huge things, but it's not exactly comfortable for me to take four little kids out to suffer. But I did it anyway. And we we had a really good conversation, which probably wouldn't have happened if we just would have gone through the drive-thru somewhere. Yeah. I know we've been talking a lot about being intentional and, you know, showing up and saying yes to things, really looking to Mary as our inspiration and knowing that what Jesus did on the cross for us is pretty much unfathomable. But it also kind of like stops me dead in my tracks when I realize my yes does not have to be this big, huge production. Where do you feel yourself being pulled to say yes that feels uncomfortable? Or where have you felt in the past?

Well, the part where it says we cannot fully love without learning to say yes when it hurts, when it's inconvenient, when it terrifies us. So Rick's and I were we had been together for two and a half months when I found out I was pregnant. And the longer end of that pregnancy, I realized I do really love this guy. And I was like, well, how am I gonna know this? But basically we both jumped with two feet into this relationship relatively quickly. And here we are 18 years later. 19 years later, really. Did it terrify you? I was kind of terrified because I always thought before that I loved this other guy, and I was like, Well, that's who I'm supposed to be with. And then that we had actually just broke up like a month before I met Rex, and then it was like all of this stuff like snowballed, and I'm like, Oh my gosh, is this really what I need to do? Like I was confused for a little while because I just had gotten out of a bad relationship, and then I met Rex, and he's just awesome. He's pretty awesome. He's a pretty cool cat. I kind of like him. Another thing that has terrified me lately is having to tell my work family that I was leaving. Mm-hmm. That was really hard. Um I'd been there, well, it'll be it's about right at six and a half years, and I love the people I work with, and I just know that I could I can do more than what I'm doing. And when I went and interviewed for this job, and then I interviewed like two days later, and then that afternoon they offered me the job, and I'm like, oh my goodness, you can't do it.
